Continental Holdings Corporation (CHC) today (October 11^th) reported September 2023 consolidated revenue of NT$3,099M. Consolidated revenue for January through September 2023 totaled NT$22,563M.

CHC’s consolidated revenue for January through September 2023 saw a decrease of 7.8% compared to the same period in 2022, mainly due to a reduced revenue from newly completed projects of Real Estate Development Business (Continental Development Corporation), which was partially offset by the double-digit revenue growth of Construction Engineering Business (Continental Engineering Corporation).

The Environmental Project Development and Water Treatment Business (HDEC Corporation) held a groundbreaking ceremony for Tainan Cheng-xi Incineration Plant Renewal BOT Project in September. The project will contribute construction revenue during the construction period. The total investment amount of the project is NT$7,215M, with concession period of 25 years (including 3 years of construction and 22 years of operation and maintenance), and the project is expected to commence operations after completion in 2026. Upon completion, the waste treatment capacity will reach 900 metric tons per day, and the efficiency for energy generation is expected to exceed 25%.
