Continental Holdings Corporation (CHC) today (August 10th) reported July 2021 consolidated revenue of NT$1,599M. Consolidated revenue for January through July 2021 totaled NT$13,544M.

CHC’s consolidated revenue for January through July 2021 saw an increase of 23.9% compared to the same period in 2020, and all three business segments delivered year-over-year revenue growth this period as well. Real Estate Development Business (Continental Development Corporation) saw the most advancement, mainly due to revenue from completed projects such as 55Timeless. Environmental Project Development Business (HDEC Corporation) also grew significantly, mainly fueled by construction of Anping Reclaimed Water Plant and Tongluo Science Park Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase II EPC. Construction Business (Continental Engineering Corporation) saw its growth mostly from Taoyuan MRT Green Line GC01 Section and other private sector construction projects.

Real Estate Development Business has officially launched its new pre-sell project Sensuous Garden, located in Taipei City, in August. The project is a reconstruction of the Taipei Fullerton Hotel Nanjing, and is the first hotel-based urban unsafe and old building reconstruction in Taiwan. Sensuous Garden has a lot size of 1,993m2 and is designed to have two buildings for residential and hotel respectively with 24 floors above and 6 stories under the ground. The hotel part will be operated by the Hyatt Centric, the upscale lifestyle hotel in Hyatt Group’s portfolio. Residential building is designed to have 116 units of serviced apartment with apartment area size of 83m2 to 182m2. Estimated total project value is NT$6.2B with NT$4.5B share value for Real Estate Development Business, and the construction is expected to complete in 2025.
