Continental Holdings Corporation (TWSE: 3703) Reported Solid Profit Performance in the First Half of 2026 and EPS of NT$0.57

Continental Holdings Corporation (CHC) today (August 7th) reported its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30th, 2026. The Company delivered consolidated revenue of NT$13,786 million, operating profit of NT$746 million, net profit of NT$472 million, and earnings per share of NT$0.57.

CHC’s consolidated revenue for the first half of 2026 decreased by 8.8% compared to the same period last year. This was primarily due to a decline in construction revenue from HDEC Corporation, which offset the increased contribution from the completion and handover of new projects from Continental Development Corporation. Gross margin increased by 4.1 percentage points year-over-year, reflecting a higher revenue contribution from Continental Development Corporation. Driven by the increased gross margin, CHC reported a 54.9% and 42.8% year-over-year increase in operating profit and net profit, respectively, for the first half of 2026.

CHC’s three subsidiaries maintained solid revenue backlogs, providing a stable foundation for the Group’s future revenue and profitability. As of June 30th, 2026, revenue backlog of Continental Engineering Corporation was NT$119.4 billion, equivalent to 5.1 times of its 2025 full year revenue. Revenue backlog of Continental Development Corporation reached a record high of NT$29.0 billion, equivalent to 4.0 times of its 2025 full year revenue. Revenue backlog of HDEC Corporation was NT$89.4 billion, equivalent to 11.6 times of its 2025 full year revenue.
