Continental Engineering Corporation (CEC), a subsidiary of Continental Holdings Corporation (Stock Code: 3703), has been selected by the Railway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport as the most advantageous tender for Taoyuan Urban District Railway Underground Project of Zhongli Station Section (Contract CJ17). The contract has a total value of NT$15.577 billion (tax included), fueling CEC\u2019s revenue growth for the next few years.<\/p>\n
The total length of this project is 1,266m, consisting of a 730m long cut & cover tunnel section and a 536m long top-down underground station. In addition to the civil works, the scope also includes the demolition\/protection of existing buildings adjacent to the railway, as well as all associated Mechanical & Electrical system works.<\/p>\n
As a leading engineering and construction company in Taiwan, CEC has significant experience delivering large-scale rail infrastructure projects for the Ministry of Transport. In addition to this new award, CEC is currently constructing two significant rail projects in Tainan, C211 and C214, for the same Client.
